Climbing is More than Fun
Playfully testing your body control, recognising and expanding your own limits, assessing challenges and developing confidence in your own strengths: what sounds so difficult in theory is effortlessly put into practice by the children on the playground. On the climbing frames, on the high bar and on the balancing equipment, testing their skills gives them great fun. Because play, fun and sport belong together for children, they love to climb, do gymnastics and balance.
Climbing for Small and Older Children
Our espas climbing frames playfully challenge children to test their own strength and coordinate their movements. They also offer a lot of fun for the children. On the espas net wall and the espas wall bars, even small children can make their first climbing attempts. The espas climbing wall, on the other hand, with its differently shaped, colourful climbing grips, poses a greater challenge. The espas climbing grips, which can be attached to the climbing wall, are food-safe, solvent-free and saliva-resistant. They are rounded at the edges so that the children cannot injure themselves or get caught.
espas Climbing Frames in Many Variations
Net wall, wall bars and climbing wall can be combined to form different climbing frames. Our espas climbing frames are available:
- as a simple net wall made of powder-coated aluminium;
- with two walls in different versions made of wood or aluminium;
- with three walls made of powder-coated aluminium;
- as espas hexagon play with additional elements in several versions made of powder-coated aluminium;
- as espas Maxi climbing play with extensive additional elements.
Climbing in Hexagon
The espas hexagon play is a closed hexagon in which each of the six sides offers its own individual climbing alternative. Additional elements include a bar for gymnastics and hanging exercises as well as a free-hanging rope ladder, which is much more difficult to climb than the net wall. Very popular with the older children is the sliding pole, which is also called fire pole. Climbing up requires strength and skill and as a reward for the effort the children can slide down the pole as quickly as the wind.
Climbing Tower Combinations for Little Heroines and Heroes
The espas Maxi climbing frames are climbing tower combinations that have been extended with slides, sliding poles and other elements. Here the children can let off steam to their heart's content, compete with friends as they climb the climbing wall and slide back down to earth in a matter of seconds to intervene in the action or climb back up again immediately. The espas climbing combinations focus on climbing skills. The children playfully train these skills and push their limits further and further. The posts of the climbing towers are made of powder-coated aluminium, while elements such as the slide and the fence panels are made of polyethylene.
Highlight Climbing Pyramid
A real climbing challenge is the climbing pyramid. For children under the age of six it is only suitable under the supervision of adults, but the older children love it because of this challenge. While the little ones on the lower floor make their first attempts at climbing, the older children climb over seven metres in the largest espas climbing pyramid. This requires endurance, skill and courage. And it's a real adventure! The espas climbing pyramid is available in versions with approx. 3 m, 4.50 m, 6.50 m and 7.50 m. All versions include ground anchors and a hot-galvanized steel pole.
The Climbing Roundabouts as a Point of Attraction
Climbing and turning in circles are two movement variations that exert a great fascination especially on smaller children. We have developed the espas spinning top, the espas climbing net tower and the espas climbing net pyramid especially for smaller children. Our climbing roundabouts on the playground are in great demand, and several children usually romp around in them at the same time. The colourful nets and the challenge of climbing the roundabouts on their own and getting it turning magically attract little adventurers. The climbing roundabouts have a powdered steel mast and can be rotated.
The High Bar Combines Play and Sport
Gymnastics and playing on high bar requires more effort than sliding or swinging, but the children benefit greatly from it. They train their sense of balance and build muscles. At the same time they learn which forces they have to use to perform certain movements and learn a lot about body control. This has a positive effect not only on motor skills, but also on the development of self-confidence.
The espas high bar is very robust and almost indestructible, making it ideal for playgrounds and public facilities. It is available in single, double and triple bar versions and as climbing bar with wall bars, each in wood or powder-coated aluminium. As the tricks on the high bar are not always successful right away, we recommend our espas fall protection slabs made of rubber granulate as floor support. Our experienced staff will be happy to advise you.
Balancing Equipment for Balance
Children grow constantly and they have to find their balance again and again. Our balancing equipment promotes the sense of balance in a playful way and gives children the feeling of mastering their bodies better. The espas wobble bridge, which is available in different versions in wood, steel and aluminium, has intermediate suspensions and is ideal for the first balancing attempts and especially for smaller children. The chains on the side keep the beams on which the children step in track, so running over them is not too much of a challenge. Bigger children prefer the balancing beam, which espas offers in either wood or hot-galvanised steel.
