Turntables and Roundabouts for the Playground
Every playground should have at least one piece of play equipment that rotates in a circle. Because children cannot get enough of fast turns at high speed. They are fascinated by the fact that their own arm power combined with a simple shift of weight makes a roundabout rotate. As little explorers, they naturally try out how quickly they can turn the roundabout, how much force is needed to keep the roundabout in rotation and how long the roundabout spins alone. In addition, the roundabout promotes social contacts, because the children meet in the roundabout to enjoy together the feeling of speed, freedom and adventure.
Our cost-effective espas roundabouts are made of hot-galvanised steel and have an aluminium ribbed floor or a floor made of rubber granulate. TÜV-certified and absolutely robust and weatherproof, they offer decades of safe play for generations of children. You can buy espas roundabouts as seat roundabout, in different versions with round bench or single seats.
A Seesaw Trains the Sense of Balance
Testing balance is a great stimulus for children. The jiggling with the chair at the dining table or at the school desk appeals exactly to this stimulus, but is not particularly popular with adults and can end in an unfavourable case with an injury. The balance exercises on a seesaw, which can be found on any well-equipped playground, are much better and in any case painless. On ourcost-effective espas seesaws there is room for a maximum of four children, two on each side.
A harmonious rocking by pushing with the feet is only possible, if the weight on both sides is balanced. In order for the children to be able to bounce without impact loads that damage the spine, shock absorbers must be installed for the rockers. These can be, for example, old car tyres on which the seesaw beam hits the ground.
As children are always on the lookout for new adventures and challenges, we have different types of standing seesaws in our programme. They offer new, dynamic fun especially for older children: there is one child on each side. Both hold on to their grips and set the seesaw in motion simply by shifting their weight.
Swinging is like Flying
Swings are an indispensable part of a playground. They are a classic play equipment, which is rediscovered again and again. Swaying through the air feels a bit like flying. Big and small children love this feeling of freedom and weightlessness. That's why swings offer an all-round, exciting play experience.
espas swings are available in numerous types: single swings, double swings, gate swings, nest swings, hammock swings, tyre swings, hexagonal swings and swing combinations. Since the swings are used in kindergartens, schools and public playgrounds, our swing frames are made of hot-galvanised steel. They are robust and durable and last for generations of children. Nevertheless, they are inexpensive to purchase. We attach great importance to high quality and safety, which is why our swings are TÜV-certified. So nothing stands in the way of children having fun playing.
The espas nest swing has developed into a real hit. Several children can take a seat here and swing together. The shared experience promotes social contacts and is twice as much fun! The swing can be combined with a climbing frame for an even more active play experience. Our espas triangular play with swing, net wall and wall bars is available in classic wood and in hot-galvanised steel in an elegant modern line.
Children's Cableway Brings Action to the Playground
The children's cableway is one of the most attractive playground equipments on a playground. Usually children's cableways are only found on large adventure playgrounds, but our cost-effective espas steel cableways are also suitable for smaller playgrounds. Especially the shorter version with 20 m can be easily accommodated at the edge of the play area. The children love to glide along the wire rope with a swing until they are abruptly stopped and thrown back as far as possible.
The starting point for the children's cableway is therefore in great demand. For this purpose, the espas cableway ramp offers an easy, non slip ramp ascent, which can be used by older children in particular for the run-up, before they swing onto the pendulum seat to speed down the wire rope as fast as possible. The espas rope ramp is secured on three sides with robust polyethylene side panels so that the children can safely prepare for the launch.
