Slides for Playgrounds
Sliding is great fun for children. On the playground, queues often form in front of the slide. Anyone who has managed to climb the ladder or conquer the slide platform via a climbing wall can whiz down the slide like the wind. Then the game can start all over again.
Buy Playground Equipment Slide
If you want to buy a slide as a single piece of play equipment for a kindergarten, school or public playground, espas has a large selection of robust slides: Slides made of polyethylene with a conventional ladder, but also with a kind of chicken ladder in a modern design, which represents an interesting challenge when climbing up and thus promotes the child's movement play. The latter ends at the top in a slide platform, which offers a little breather before the reward for the whole climb beckons: a cheerful slide!
Play Tower with Slide
But espas slides are not only a hit as individual play equipment. As extension elements, espas slides are ideal for all types of play towers. Tube slides and element slides can be fastened in many different forms directly to the play towers and represent an ideal extension. Thus, children can combine climbing and balancing with sliding and train their motor skills in a playful way. The espas slides do not have any corners or edges due to the particularly strongly rounded end pieces. The soft polyethylene shapes are particularly child- and environment-friendly and are of course TÜV-certified.
Slides in Different Lengths
Our espas slide elements are available in different lengths. Slides in lengths of 0.90 m and 1.00 m are available for the smallest children. So they can slowly approach the adventure of "sliding". The risk is manageable when a caregiver stands at the end of the slide and catches the little adventurer and guides him safely back to earth. Older children need bigger challenges. This is why the espas slide elements are also available in lengths ranging from 1.25 m to 2.50 m. Here the slide experience is much more intense, because the path from high above down to earth is longer.
Tube Slides as Highlights
A tube slide is a very special experience for children and makes their stomachs tingle. In contrast to the simple slide, here they are in a narrow tunnel and cannot overlook the surroundings and often also the end of the slide. The visual impressions are less, but the sense of balance runs at full speed. The motor skills are promoted as well as the ability to estimate distances and speed.
Our espas tube slides can be attached easily, quickly and safely to play towers and tower combinations and enrich climbing and balancing with an extraordinary sliding experience. Built-in curves allow a long slide even in confined spaces and thus increase the sliding fun. Long tube slides are an exciting experience even for teenagers.
Tube Slide as Emergency Lane and Escape Route
Escape slides in the form of tube slides are a good alternative to an emergency and escape staircase or a sensible second escape route in a building where many children are accommodated. The escape slide can be attached to the balcony or directly to the building. The biggest advantage of tube slides as an escape route is that the children already know the slide as play equipment. In an emergency, the children know how to behave: simply slide out into the open. The children develop significantly less fear because they are familiar with the situation. They have already mastered the tube slide many times in play. They use the tube slide in emergencies as well as in games and land safely on the ground, outside the danger zone.
If an adult makes sure when entering the slide that the children do not push, and another person at the slide exit helps to get out, the children can slide quickly and safely one after the other and get to safety.
The „Accident Fund Nordrhein-Westfalen“ specifically recommends planning a second structural escape and rescue route for multi-storey daycare centers: "This can be either a second staircase or an emergency staircase. Emergency or escape slides have proved to be a useful addition to a staircase."
Made in Germany
All elements of the slides are produced by espas in its own factory in Kassel, Germany. While the majority of the ladders are made of hot-galvanized steel, the slides are made of polyethylene. They are manufactured in the company's own rotary melting plant and are 100 percent recyclable. If they are actually no longer needed at some point after many years, they can be shredded, melted down and reused. This protects the environment and saves costs. We share this cost saving with you through our low prices when you buy an espas slide.
