Frequently asked questions
Which goal size is right for which age?
For children up to eleven years old, the German Football Association provides for small goals. G-Juniors play on mini goals, and from the F-Juniors upwards also on mini-pitch goals. Our football goal is 3 metres wide and around 2 metres high, which makes it much smaller than a full-size goal of 7.32 by 2.44 metres. For school grounds, nursery schools and playgrounds, that is a handy size.
What material is the football goal made of?
The frame is made of powder-coated aluminium profile measuring 100 by 100 millimetres, supplemented by a hot-dip galvanised round tube and a plastic net. Aluminium does not rust, which is why we give a 20-year guarantee on the aluminium parts.
Does a football goal have to be anchored in the ground?
Yes, our football goal is anchored in four foundations, each measuring 30 by 30 by 30 centimetres. For children’s football, the German Football Association requires mini-pitch goals to be secured so that they cannot tip over.
Where is the football goal suitable for use?
The football goal is suitable for playgrounds, nursery schools and schools. There is no prescribed age group. We usually deliver the goal in four to six weeks.
What other ball sports equipment is there besides the football goal?
Our ball sports equipment also includes a basketball unit, the Surpriseball and the Triple Surpriseball. The basketball unit is around 3.80 metres high and made of hot-dip galvanised steel. The Surpriseball is recommended from the age of four for four children, the Triple Surpriseball from the age of two for twelve children.
